Fundraising at Poe

Our PTO is known for a long–standing partnership of families, school administration, teachers and students promoting a strong foundation for learning and success.

The Poe PTO provides volunteers and financial support for educational programs, field trips, career week, technology upgrades, campus improvement projects and preservation of our historic building.

Poe Elementary School has been educating heroes in Houston for almost 90 years. On Saturday, October 28, 2017, we will celebrate the heroes of Poe – our students, teachers, families and community – at the 69th annual Poe Carnival from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Disney's Enchanted Fantasy will include games, great food, costume contests, music and so much more.

The Poe Elementary School library hosts two fun, engaging, and affordable book fairs each year. 100% of funds raised through the book fairs is dedicated to maintaining the library and its collection, and we are so grateful for your support!
