Poe Teacher Appreciation Week, 2010

Please join us in celebrating National Teacher Appreciation week starting May 3 - 7th. We want to show all of our wonderful staff just how important they are to our students and parents.

Poe Teacher Appreciation Week - English  /  Spanish

Here is how you can help:

Monday: Have your child say thank you by bringing a FLOWER from your garden or otherwise. Flowers can be collected all week long and placed in a vase in their hallway. At the end of the week, they will have a bouquet! Don't forget Ancillary teachers.

Tuesday: Have your child create a thank you card especially for their teacher. The kids can use any type of paper to create their own one of a kind design! Return it to your homeroom parent.

Wednesday: Have your child pay his or her teacher a COMPLIMENT, tell her something he or she likes about him/her and bring a DESSERT to the teachers (Drop off in AM in the lounge)

Thursday: Bring your teacher a sweet for the day! A special treat for that special teacher!

Friday: Have your child give his /her teacher a HUG or HANDSHAKE for a job well done at the end of the week.

Thanks for your support! The Staff will also have special lunches each day.
