Poe Teacher Appreciation Week, May 4 - 8, 2009

Please join us in celebrating National Teacher Appreciation week starting May 4-8th. We want to show our wonderful staff just how much they mean to our students and parents.

Here is how you can help:

Monday: Have your child say thank you by bringing a FLOWER from your garden or otherwise. Flowers can be collected all week long and placed in a vase in their hallway. At the end of the week, they will have a bouquet!

Tuesday: Have your child color and cut out the FLOWER PICTURE that will be in your Monday folder. Return it to your homeroom parent. The pictures will decorate your teacher's doorway. Don't forget Ancillary teachers.

Wednesday: Have your child pay his or her teacher a COMPLIMENT, tell her something he or she likes about him/her and bring a DESSERT to the teachers (Drop off in AM in the lounge)

Thursday: Join your teacher for a DONUT in the cafeteria before school in the morning. What a sweet way to start the day.

Friday: Have your child give his /her teacher a HUG or HANDSHAKE for a job well done at the end of the week.

Thanks for your support! The Staff will also have special lunches each day.
